ELSI scientist, Hiroyuki Kurokawa was awarded the prestigious ‘Outstanding Young Scientist Award’ 2018 (年度最優秀研究者賞) from the Japanese Society of Planetary Sciences (日本惑星科学会). The winners of the award are selected by their contribution to the field of planetary science, playing a central role in the scientific community to further the studies. “I feel honoured to receive this award as it signifies that my research on planetary science was highly evaluated. I greatly appreciate colleagues inside and outside ELSI for the support” adds Kurokawa.
