ELSI will be hosting Josh Gordon, Developer Advocate at Google AI in New York for a talk on TensorFlow 2.0 on 22 April 2019. The event is organised by Machine Learning Tokyo (MLT). TensorFlow has grown to become one of the most widely adopted ML platforms, 2.0 focuses on simplicity and ease of use, with updates like eager execution, intuitive higher-level APIs, and flexible model building on any platform.

TensorFlow 2.0 is all about ease of use. In this 45 minutes talk, Josh will cover best practices for beginners and experts, and point the participants to the latest code examples that they could try. He will further cover the Keras Sequential, Functional, and Subclassing APIs, as well as built-in training loops, and how to write a custom training loop using a GradientTape. To wrap it up, Josh will give a quick summary of a few announcements and updates from the TensorFlow Developer Summit.
