The 60th Annual Meeting of Biophysical Society of Japan (BSJ) will be held in Hakodate, September 28-30, 2022, chaired by Prof. Masataka Kinjo, Faculty of Advanced Life Science, Hokkaido University. The annual meeting is to be held hybrid mode and will comprise of series of symposia covering topics under the 'biophysics' umbrella.

 

ELSI Specially Appointed Assistant Professor, Tony Z. Jia and ELSI Alumni, Yutetsu Kuruma (JAMSTEC) will host a symposium on “Exploring the Origin of Life through a Constructivist Approach (再構築実によってアプローチするプロトセル研究と⽣命の起源への探求)” at the annual meeting. The symposium will focus on the search for the origin of life (OoL) from various fields and how it can be in cooperated into new scientific findings.
