Prof. Tetsuo Irifune, PI and head of ELSI Ehime satellite, will be awarded a Medal of Honor with Purple Ribbon, an honor conferred by the Japanese government on individuals who have contributed to the development of science and technology. The award ceremony will be held on May 15.
