On Nov. 8th, 29 sixth-graders from Shimizukubo Elementary School visited ELSI, and Dr. Tateno gave a lecture.

They got very interested in his explanation of various mountains in the world, using Google Earth.

They touched directly rocks.

They replied actively to Dr. Tateno's questions and looked to have had a fruitful time. We hope they get interested in geoscience by this experience.
