High school students and teachers of Hyogo prefectural Kawanishi Midoridai High School visited ELSI on August 23, 2017. They are students of math and science course and have an interest in science.

After presentation on ELSI, Dr. Takayuki Saito gave a lecture on galaxy formation. During the lecture, the students were earnestly watching simulation of galaxy formation and taking notes. The students raised questions on the galaxy and the galaxy formation during Q&A session.

Following the lecture, they toured ELSI 1. They were intently looking at the laboratory instruments, super computers and the facilities.
